Changing the Dust Cap (see figures E)

You will need to change the dust cap depending on the drill chuck and drilling diameter:

• Dust cap (1) for SDS plus quick-change chuck and drilling diameters of 4–16 mm
• Dust cap (2) for SDS plus fixed chuck and drilling diameters of 4–16 mm

You will also need to change the dust cap if the wall contact surface shows clear signs of wear which is causing dust to escape through the extraction brush during extraction.

Removing the dust cap:

• Press the locking button (12) and pull the dust cap upwards out of the holder.

Fitting the dust cap:

• Insert the new dust cap into the holder from above until the locking button (12) audibly engages.
