Adjusting bevel angles
The bevel angle can be set between –2° and 47°.
For quick and precise setting of frequently used bevel angles, stops have been provided for the angles −2°, 0°, 22.5°, 33.9°, 45° and 47°.
Setting Standard Bevel Angles (see figure L)
- Pull the lock button (13) up.
Standard bevel angle 0°, −2°
- Turn the right-hand stop (29) until the required standard bevel angle engages below the stop screw (28).
- Swivel the tool arm all the way to the right.
- Push the lock button (13) back down.
Standard bevel angles 47°, 45°, 33.9° and 22.5°.
- Remove or move the adjustable fence (20).
- Turn the left-hand stop (21) until the required standard bevel angle engages below the stop screw (22).
- Swivel the tool arm all the way to the left.
- Push the lock button (13) back down.
Setting any bevel angle
- Remove or move the adjustable fence (20).
- Pull the lock button (13) up.
- Turn the right-hand stop (29) until the −2° standard bevel angle engages below the stop screw (28).
Turn the left-hand stop (21) until the 47° standard bevel angle engages below the stop screw (22).
The full swivel range is now available. - Swivel the tool arm left or right by the handle (4) until the angle indicator (27) shows the required bevel angle.
- Hold the tool arm in this position and push the lock button (13) back down.
