Preparing for operation
To ensure precise cuts, the basic settings of the power tool must be checked and adjusted as necessary after intensive use.
Experience and suitable special tools are required for this.
A Bosch after-sales service point will handle this work quickly and reliably.
The free end of long and heavy workpieces must have something placed underneath it or be supported.
The saw table can be extended left and right using the saw table extensions (17).
- Pull the clamping lever (40) upwards.
- Pull out the saw table extension (17) to the required length.
- To lock the saw table extension, push the clamping lever (40) back down.
The flexible connector system of the workpiece supports (18) enables a multitude of extension or expansion variants.
- Insert the workpiece support (18) into the openings (43) on the power tool or into the openings (44) of the second workpiece support as required.
- Never carry the power tool using the workpiece supports.
Only use the transport devices to transport the power tool.
You have to move the adjustable fence (20) or remove it completely to saw bevel angles.
Removing:
- Loosen the locking screw (50).
- Pull the adjustable fence (20) out as far as it goes and lift it upwards and out of the way.
Moving:
- Only loosen the locking screw (50) slightly.
- Pull the adjustable fence (20) all the way out and re-tighten the locking screw (50).
After sawing the bevel angles, move the adjustable fence (20) back into the starting position and tighten the locking screw (50).
To ensure maximum safety while working, the workpiece must always be firmly clamped.
Do not saw workpieces that are too small to clamp firmly.
- Press the workpiece firmly against the fences (19) and (20).
- Insert the supplied screw clamp (30) into one of the corresponding holes (41).
- Loosen the wing bolt (51) and adjust the screw clamp to the workpiece. Tighten the wing bolt again.
- Tighten the threaded rod (52) to fix the workpiece in place.
Releasing the workpiece
- To loosen the screw clamp, turn the threaded rod (52) anticlockwise.
