Blade speed

You can select the required belt speed using the two buttons for adjusting the belt speed, (2) and (3), even during operation. The required blade speed depends on the material and the working conditions; it can be ascertained through practical tests.

After working at a low belt speed for an extended period, you should operate the power tool at the maximum belt speed for approximately 3 minutes without load to cool it down.
