Maintenance and Cleaning

Before carrying out any work on the power tool (e.g. maintenance, tool change etc.), remove the battery from the power tool. There is risk of injury from unintentionally pressing the on/off switch.

To ensure safe and efficient operation, always keep the power tool and the ventilation slots clean.

Remove any adherent sanding dust using a brush.

Changing the Metal Plate (see figure B)

The metal plate (13) is screwed onto the wool felt (14) and facilitates an optimum sanding finish.

The metal plate (13) is subject to wear, relative to the intensity of usage. To replace the metal plate (13), remove the sanding belt (7). Unscrew the metal plate (13) and replace with a new one.

Once the sanding belt is replaced, adjust the belt running see Changing the Sanding Belt (see figure A).

Changing the sliding plate (accessory) (see figure C)

The sliding plate (15) (accessory) is screwed onto the metal plate (13) and facilitates an optimum sanding finish.

The sliding plate (15) is subject to wear, relative to the intensity of usage. To replace the sliding plate (15), remove the sanding belt (7). Unscrew the sliding plate (15) and replace with a new one.

Once the sanding belt is replaced, adjust the belt running see Changing the Sanding Belt (see figure A).
