SPEED working mode

In the SPEED working mode, you can preselect the speed in 3 settings. The selected setting is indicated as follows in the speed preselection indicator (14):

  • Speed setting 1: 1 LED lights up
  • Speed setting 2: 3 LEDs light up
  • Speed setting 3: 5 LEDs light up

Note: The speed ranges of the three speed settings are specified in the Technical Data.

Note: The preset setting for activating the function is speed setting 3.
After switching off the SPEED function, the speed setting last selected is saved in the tool.

Press the SPEED button (11). The user interface and the SPEED function are switched on.

The SPEED button  (11) and the speed preselection indicator (14) light up.

Press the SPEED button (11) repeatedly until the required setting is displayed.

The SPEED working mode (Speed) can be combined with the TIME working mode (Shut off after time). The TIME working mode then has the same effect in the relevant preset speed range.

TIME working mode (Shut Off After Time)

In the TIME working mode, the power tool stops after a preselected period of time. The automatic shutdown prevents damage to the surface and/or screws being tightened excessively.

Note: This working mode is only active in the clockwise direction.

Press the TIME button (12) to switch on the function. The TIME button (12) lights up while the function is switched on.

Press the TIME button (12) again to switch the TIME function off.

The SPEED working mode (Speed) can be combined with the ABR working mode (Auto Bolt Release). The ABR working mode then has the same effect in the relevant preset speed range.

The ABR working mode is used for releasing nuts: The power tool automatically shuts down when the bolt nut is released. The automatic shutdown prevents the bolt nut from falling down when released from the screw thread.

Note: The ABR working mode is only active in the anticlockwise direction.

Note: The automatic shutdown (ABR) works only if bolts or nuts are securely tightened. The on/off switch (7) must be fully pressed.

Press the ABR button (13) to switch on the function. The ABR button  (13) lights up while the function is switched on.

Set the power tool to anticlockwise. When undoing nuts, press the on/off switch (7) as far as it will go in order to trigger the automatic shutdown (ABR).

Press the ABR  button (13) again to switch the ABR function off.

Note: Switching off the user interface with the SPEED button  (11) also ends the ABR function.
