Starting Operation

Note: Only switch on the power tool if a cartridge has been inserted.

To switch on the power tool, first press the locking mechanism (7) on the left side to deactivate it. Then press the on/off switch (10) and keep it pressed.

To switch off the power tool, release the on/off switch (10). The rack moves immediately into the park position, in order to prevent further squeezing of the material.

If the on/off switch (10) is pressed again within approximately 20 s of switching off, the rack moves to the last working position at increased speed. If this position is achieved, the feed is adapted again to the adjusted feed rate.

To lock the on/off switch (10) against being activated unintentionally, press the locking mechanism (7) on the right side  to activate it.

You can preselect the maximum feed rate of the rack with the feed rate thumbwheel (6). High values mean a high feed rate, low values mean a low feed rate. You can change the preselected value during operation.

You can also adjust the feed rate continuously up to the preselected value by pressing in the on/off switch (10) to varying extents.

The amount of material squeezed out also depends on the size of the dispensing nozzle opening.

If the permissible temperature is exceeded, the caulking gun switches off. Let the caulking gun cool down and then switch the caulking gun back on.
