Rapid Shut-Off (Advanced KickBack Control)

The Rapid Shut-Off function (Advanced KickBack Control) gives the user full control over the power tool and offers them better protection than power tools that do not have Advanced KickBack Control.

In case that a drill bit gets jammed in the material or a screw is abruptly coming to a standstill in the workpiece, the integrated sensor shuts off the motor immediately. This prevents the power tool from suddenly rotating around the axis and causing injuries.

The Advanced KickBack Control built into the power tool features two elements: the "fast" KickBack Control and additionally a "slow" KickBack Control, which even prevents the tool from rotating slowly around the axis, for instance when working with long screws that require a slowly but steadily increasing holding force.

Rapid shut-off is indicated by flashing of the worklight on the power tool.

To switch the tool back on, release the on/off switch and then press it again.
